By purchasing from The Jungle Vault, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our terms below.
We will not sell to anyone under the age of 18 unless a parent/guardian is present. We have the right to request proof of age or parental consent and, in turn, refuse the sale if requirements are not met.
We reserve the right to refuse a sale at any time for any reason.
The Jungle Vault accepts payments through Square (debit/credit), Email Money Transfer (EMT/E-Transfer) or Wire Transfers (International). All purchases must be paid for in full before receiving the animal. We DO NOT accept PayPal for domestic orders at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience. For international orders please contact us to make payment.
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold any animal. A 50% deposit is required to hold animals up to $500 in value and 25% for any animal over $500.
All purchases must be paid in full prior to shipping.
The Jungle Vault offers 30-day and 60-day financing options for purchases of high value.
Our 30-day plan covers purchases up to $1000. 60-day plans are available for all purchases over $1000 to $3000. Please get in touch with us to discuss payment plans for purchases greater than $3000.
All payment plans require a 25% non-refundable down payment before an animal is placed on hold.
Payment plans fulfilled through Square will be charged an additional 3% processing fee per payment.
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure all payments are made within the required time frame. We will not chase you for these payments. Payments may be made when it is convenient as long as it is within the agreed term.
If full payment is not received by the end of the term, the down payment is forfeit. Failure to provide payment in the given timeframe or wishing to cancel will be considered a broken payment plan. Broken payment plans will not be issued any refunds. All installments and deposits are non-refundable.
If the animal placed on hold falls ill or expires, the buyer will be refunded in full, including the 25% deposit.
We guarantee all animals to be in perfect health at the time of sale unless otherwise stated.
The Jungle Vault guarantees animals for 48 hours.
This period starts once the buyer receives their animal. Please get in touch with us within 5 hours if there is a health issue so that we may assist the best we can. Failure to do so will void the guarantee.
Our health guarantee does not cover damage or injuries incurred to the animal once it has left our care, including but not limited to dehydration, burns, hypothermia, hyperthermia, drowning or choking. This guarantee also does not cover tail loss for geckos.
Health guarantees will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
We do not guarantee the sex of our geckos until they reach sexual maturity. All geckos are considered unsexed until they show obvious signs of being male or get to a size that confirms them to be females. In some cases, we will tell you if we see pores on your gecko, but this is in no way guaranteed.
Animals sold as a "possible" sex are not eligible for our sexing guarantee.
The Jungle Vault will provide no refunds or exchanges if animals sold as unsexed turn out to be male/female at the time of pickup/shipping.
If a sexed animal is purchased and there is an error in sexing, we will exchange the animal for one of the correct sex. Photographic proof of the error is required—return shipping at the expense of the buyer.
The Jungle Vault does not alter the colour of its animals. We strive to provide clear and accurate photos of each animal in the best light so that they appear true to life.
Due to various species' ability to "fire up and down" and the colour calibration of different screens, we do not offer guarantees on colour.
Animals purchased may appear differently in person than on screen.
We offer shipping through Reptile Express across Canada, the United States and Europe. (See International Purchases)
We do not sell or ship Western Hognoses to Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Iowa, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri or Kansas due to provincial, municipal, state and federal laws.

Door delivery service voids our live arrival guarantee - no exceptions
Shipping temperatures must be in a safe range to ship (40oF - 85oF), and someone must be available to sign for the package upon delivery or pickup at a local hub. We are happy to hold animals until daytime and overnight shipping temperatures are within a safe range.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate shipping address information. We will NOT be responsible for any DOA's or additional shipping costs incurred due to an incorrect shipping address. If a redirection of the package is required, the customer will be required to pay any further fees to deliver the package. All guarantees regarding live arrival will be void.
In the rare case of a DOA during shipping, the buyer must contact us within 1 hour of receiving the animal—no exceptions. Photographic proof of the expired animal and shipping box will be required in all cases.
The Jungle Vault will handle shipping DOA's on a case-by-case basis. Deposits and shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

The Jungle Vault is proud to offer international shipping of our NON - CITES livestock to customers in the United States and Europe organized through Reptile Express International (USA) or Northern Lights Reptile Imports (EU/UK).
International buyers are bound to the same purchase terms listed on this website above except for our Refund Policy. Since international shipments require extended delivery time and may make many stops before arriving at the buyer, The Jungle Vault does not provide refunds/returns on international sales for any reason.
PayPal and Wire Transfers are available for international orders.
Purchases made with PayPal will be charged a 4% processing fee
